Taeyong is going to have his first solo album come out very soon (as in a couple of hours now). We have seen many sides of Taeyong before and this album seems to be no different. This is very exciting because he is able to pull off so many different types of aesthetics and the colors of his music is very broad as well. I always love his writing style and how it feels like you’re in a story. This album is going to have 7 songs which is very exciting. I hope to see different genres all into this album and I also hope for him to get rest in between and be able to process all of it. Wishing Taeyong all the success on this album release. 

Any predictions for what will be on the album? I’m really hoping for Ghost as one of the outfits from the teasers looked similar. I also heard one of my favorites ‘GTA ver 2’ in one of the teasers. Update: Actually, we get to hear ‘GTA ver 2’! It had different lyrics, but when I tell you I screamed internally when I heard it (don’t worry future me will make more sense lol). I had to go back to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating. If you look at the video before the moment you get to choose two others we get to see a TY BOT screen. On this screen, if you take the time to read it we see 6 songs with descriptions. ‘Virtual Insanity’, ‘404 File Not Found’, ‘RUBY’, ‘Back to the Past’, ‘Let It Go’, and ‘Move Mood Mode’. I think that the 6 songs represent the worlds in his head other than the one he is currently in, due to the looks in the teaser being that many, but we won’t know until it’s released. From these I can conclude that it will be a lot of self-reflecting and a lot of emotions painted throughout the album. This can be lyrically and literally. I hope to hear Taeyong talk more in depth about each one. I know that there is a series out right now explaining the songs already y’all. I want to make sure to hear it and feel it first then I listen to the explanations later. It’s a process, but a process that is right for me. I like to go in without knowing anything about the project and listen. That way I can see what stands out the first time listening. Then see if it’s something to repeat over and over (even if I’m going to anyways for my job). Then read the lyrics and explanations. And also while listening I like to dissect. Listen to the tones and instruments. Did it have any significance? And any other questions that might come up while listening. And watch the performance.

A lot of his music has been personal lately and I think it’s great for artists to use their platform as an outlet. Not only does it help them, but it helps others going through similar things. I didn’t get to finish the two hidden videos T or Y, but I just wanted to wait before reacting to it. It seems to be a choose your own path Red or Blue pill kind of concept and I am so into it. Just know Taeyong, we love all of it, We choose TY!

THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN. It took me a while because the art took soooo long and it deleted some of it early this morning. I was so upset. This is the final update as the album will be released in a couple of hours actually. So, with the logic loading, I realized a few days ago that ‘GTA ver 2’ is actual ‘Virtual Insanity’. I. CANNOT. WAIT. Honestly, I really can’t. I need to have this song blasting nowwww. I wonder if the title has anything to do with when Taeyong performed ‘Virtual Insanity’ by Stevie Wonder a while ago. I mean he mentioned him in ‘DJ’ on the ‘AY-YO’ album…could it be a connection? ‘GTA ver 2; was a demo title for the 5-year anniversary of Taeyong’s debut. I have no clue right now, but I can’t wait to see. Anyways if you can, pre-order the album (the SM site’s albums are sold out right now). Stream the MV and all the songs. And support the stages and other contents/activities being released. Also, the showcase stage (I have my notifications on so I will be on there as well). I’ll be the first to tell you, support comes in many forms. Do what you can and don’t compare. What are you the most excited about? I’m really excited about a physical album finally.
