SM Entertainment is set to produce a reality television show titled “NCT Universe : LASTART” in order to select members for the final NCT unit. The show is set to have BoA and Eunhyuk (Super Junior) as artist directors and will be “airing on ENA and TVING in Korea, Nippon TV in Japan, and KOCOWA+ in North, Central, and South America” (Koreaboo.com). This news is announced after Lucas, Shotaro and Sungchan have all exited NCT not too long before and two new members were announced to be in the group, Yushi and Sion. The name of the reality show is wordplay signifying the last of NCT’s infinite expansion and the start of a new team. The new group formed will tentatively be called NCT NEW TEAM. Look out for the premiere on July 27th!
