We got another Kpop group! SM Entertainment has just teased the new boy group 라이즈 RIIZE. RIIZE stands for Rise & Realize. It’s an emotional pop band that has strong skill and visuals.

Their team consists of 7 members. Shotaro 쇼타로 (22), Eunseok 은석 (22), Sungchan 성찬 (22), Wonbin 원빈 (21), Seunghan 승한 (19), SoHee 소희 (19), Anton 앤톤 (19). It’s great to see the age range here. I think especially for a group nowadays this is great.

If you are new to the SM groups or to some of these boys, some of them are quite familiar faces. We have seen Shotaro and Sungchan in NCT before until announced their leave and new plans to debut in this group earlier this year. We finally got the name of this group recently. They have been in a couple of songs in NCT and have had really fun content for SUNGTARO (성타로)! We were also introduced to Eunseok in SMROOKIES, and it was hinting at a possible NCT debut especially during their NCTxSMROOKIES performance.

We didn’t see much of them anymore especially after seeing Shotaro’s SNS close and some content leave. It was a sad day, but we’re hoping to see more soon to fill that empty void. We did see today some new Instagram shorts videos and cool content. We also got to see some amazing bucket list goals of the for them. One thing we can take away from it all is that these boys have a lot of talent, and we can expect the best from them! I really hope that they have a full schedule, but with healthy breaks in between.

If you want to keep up with RIIZE, we got you! Right now, they only have one social media account that started in April of this year actually (and verified this month). The names of the account changed twice so I’m curious what the possible names were or what the placeholder name was for the account. I’m so curious about what direction this group is going in.
