Hwasa has done it again with a new solo song that breaks barriers once more. This time we get “I Love My Body” which feels like a self-confidence and uplifting song as well as a message to the haters. The song was released on September 6th and the music video has already reached 29 million views. I really like seeing and hearing the different aspects Hwasa plays with in this song. The style is reminiscent of “Mr.Ambiguous” or “You’re the Best” with a Doo Wop feel and the outfits in her music video are very pretty and daring. We really get to see Hwasa’s confidence through this song and she looks stunning as usual. I liked that she played with vocal range in a way I’m not used to as much anymore from her as higher parts were usually given to Solar or Wheein in Mamamoo. I can already see Hwasa is blossoming and doing amazing things under P Nation. I’m very proud of her and can’t wait to see what follows.
