I am a big fan of fashion. On top of that, some of our hosts are big fans of fashion. So it makes it really fun for us to look at a bunch of fashion. Now let’s get on with the outfits.

Obviously, some of the most talked about fashion weeks come from New York and Paris. If you aren’t really into fashion, I’m sure you’ve heard of them.

One of the fashion weeks I really want to attend is Seoul fashion week. Because even us normies get dressed up and take pictures. I think it’s something super fun. I’ve seen it in other places as well. I’ve seen so many people dress up and go, I really want to as well. 

I also want to say, I really enjoy fashion shows for another reason. You see a lot of people change their style to fit the aesthetic for the theme of the show. As well as the brands bringing some cool concepts together. For the record, I also appreciate others who aren’t as adventurous and stay with their comfort level when being styled. I do find fashion shows can be a way to see new things and maybe you will find more things for your personal aesthetic.

BLACKSWAN

I saw some clips from BLACKSWAN’s appearance at the GREEDILOUS fashion show. They walked (Hello slayyy!) and even performed and that was really cool! I really enjoy how even as a group everyone had their own aura. They illuminated that carpet and the runway. I really want to talk about their read carpet looks. Each person had their own styling and there was 2 different prints. The print NVEE and GABI had given more of a paradise vibes. While FATOU and SRIYA’s outfits gave me more street wear vibes. I really think the stylist picked the right outfits for each person’s palette. I love the hair colors as well. No one has the same style or color making each person stand out. And it complimented their outfits so well. I really want to see them more often in the fashion world because I know they can pull off almost anything. 

Now the first show I caught this year was KWAKHYUNJOO COLLECTION in Seoul. I wrote about this in the previous post. Ironically, I saw someone else attend later, on an Instagram post. Which was Yunho of Ateez. His outfit looked really nice on his tall statue. I think it worked really well as it was a baggier layered look.

A lot of the Ateez members went to fashion shows. We saw Yunho, Mingi, San, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, and Wooyoung. They all looked amazing. We also saw them work with a  few brands making custom outfits for events like Coachella! I am hoping to see more looks from the Ateez members.

We later saw San of Ateez (or Ateez of San haha) at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show (DGSS25) for PFW. San has worn a white outfit before for Dolce & Gabbana; however this was still very refreshing to see. San has so much variation in outfits even when they are more casual colors. I do wish it was spaced out as he did attend a show this year. But we have to admit the night to day looks were iconic. And most importantly San was happy and made lots of memories. And was able to promote the group as well. I thoroughly enjoy the white with silver accessories. His complexion also popped in this outfit. The black outfit popped too, but it wasn’t as intense. 

Hongjoong went to two fashion shows, but I will focus on his look at Balmain the most. This isn’t the first time we have seen Hongjoong in Balmain. We also saw it in the recent Cosmopolitan photoshoot with Ateez. But focusing on this specific fashion show, Hongjoong slayed. His outfit was very nice. The black with Gold writing was very strong. He paired them with black pants and boots. I wasn’t too much of a fan of the boots personally, but on him they looked really good. The way the rain fell accompanied by the flashing of the cameras made it look like sparkles out of a fairytale. 

We also caught looks from a few other stars like: Yeji of ITZY, Mun Ka Young, and Kendra G. 

YEJI (ITZY) at the Dolce & Gabbana show

Yeji had a bold look. I love how she had the all black fit paired with a beautiful red lip and gold accessories. I think it was the perfect pair. I think the most stand out piece was the hat she wore. It gave her a mysterious vibe and I was living for it. 

MUN KA YOUNG at the Dolce & Gabbana show

Ka Young’s outfit was probably my favorite as I am a sucker for sequin. She wore a sequin gold dress, black heels and a black bralet. Black bralet was a contrast to the glitz and glamour. In my opinion I probably would have left that part out or got it altered to not show as much (mainly the bottom part of it). However, on her it was a mix of classy and flirty. She paired it with a makeup look in the pinkish-nude shade which complimented her outfit very well.

KENDRA G at the Dolce & Gabbana show

Kendra G went all out with her outfit. I don’t really know where to begin. I think the stand out had to be the vibrant red that danced across the whole look. The dress, the bag, and the shoes all match beautifully. The textures mixed well as well. The cheetah print on her was the perfect hue. At some point she had the DG glasses-which I am a huge fan of. I think that might had been too much and took away from the rest of what was going on as it was a different shade than the other prints. However, in an editorial I would need this whole look together. Kendra G, get in the studio and get this look down in a magazine nowwwwww! I would love to take them! 🙂 Back to the look. Her makeup was so perfect. Her eye makeup was nude and fit really well with the colors on her coat and might I add…killer cut crease! Lashes were very dramatic which really worked well especially with her lace beret. And this look was not complete without being paired with a red lip. The hair was curled to perfection and the highlights matched the coat as well. The hat and beautiful coat was cheetah print (or it might be leopard, sorry I’m bad at this). I lived for this. It was powerful and her confidence when she walked was the best accessory of them all. 

NCT

Also, members of the group NCT went to a lot of shows as well. I cannot wait to see more of them! Doyoung went to Dolce & Gabbana. Jaehyun went to the Prada show. I really love watching them go. And also, we always get the behind-the-scenes content and that is always fun to watch. I just wish they had more time to explore the city more and chill at the hotel. 

Johnny attended the acne studios event. Also, congratulations Johnny for being the new ambassador for the brand. Willow Smith also attended the show again this year which was very exciting. They were seating partners again. I hope this is the new thing as they both ate both years so far. Johnny’s look was very bold. I was actually pretty surprised even though last year’s outfit was way bolder. I just didn’t expect it. I think hot was a good way to describe it (even though you were not slick haha, double meaning was the perfect way to describe it). 

His dinner outfit gave the bad boy crush vibe. I do think that rocking another brand wasn’t the way to go as you are repping a specific one. But we know how much Johnny adores that brand so pass it is. 

SEONGHWA (ATEEZ) at the ISABEL MARANT show

One of my favorite looks was Seonghwa in Paris with ISABEL MARANT. He killed it. It was interesting looking at the behind the scenes for this look and how Seonghwa knew exactly what he wanted for this show. I am really happy that he got to attend this show as fashion and Seonghwa is always a perfect pair. The look felt like it was made for him. The wrapped styled dress with leather pants and boots was a pair I wasn’t expecting, but I really want to try now. It was iconic. I felt like a mix between a fashionable game character and fantasy. It also reminded me of Star Wars and I wasn’t the only one. I think that the different browns coming together was great layering as well. They are all warm brown undertones and work amazing together. I think this also made his complexion glow even more. I love the brows. The makeup leaned on the more neutral side letting the outfit be the star. 

If you are a fan of Seonghwa, you probably are a big fan of his hair as well. Whether long or short he always serves. This style fell perfectly contouring his face and it really draws you in more. One thing I wasn’t sure I would be a fan of was the mixing of gold and silver. However, because of the distance between them, the two weren’t clashing too much. I think going full gold or silver could have worked as well. Aside from the belt and necklace there weren’t any accessories and that really put the rest of the outfit at the forefront. Seonghwa’s appearance at ISABEL MARANT shows how a visionary can thrive in fashion. I heard that a lot of people are predicting ISABEL MARANT core will be the next thing in trending. This is intriguing and I want to know more.

VICTORIA SECRET SHOW

Also the Victoria’s Secret fashion show came back! I remember watching this a lot growing up and wanting to be one of the angels. I also really enjoyed seeing artists perform while they are walking. It was quite special and left an impression on me. So seeing it finally come back was great to hear. We needed the wings back. Speaking of wings…there were a lot of things that caused an uproar in the fashion world including the walks, the venue, the outfits, the models, and the artists. I would rather leave that discussion up to others right now. I do think that I wanted more from a big comeback.And I wish it would have given the flair it once had. Don’t get me wrong, I truly believe in creative design and we all have our own taste. Personally, I think some things didn’t work and some things did. I really liked the stage and lighting. The models ate their walks. And I really love the variety of wings. I think this was a great start. Better than not having it at all right? I missed it so much. I know this year will be so fun. 

I forgot to mention my favorite looks from the show. My overall favorite was Tyla’s outfit. It was gold (with brown undertones) and white (with silver undertones). And the wings complimented so well. And they were shaped like a heart. I am obsessed. The ombre hair with highlights complimented the outfit so well. I love it. 

OTHER FASHION

I have to mention other events in fashion. MET GALA 2024 was nice. I loved, loved, loved Anok Yai’s look. All of those Swarovski gems just made her shine even more. It was giving main character. It was giving everything we needed and more and yes, it was on theme. Thanks. We also seen Stray Kids at the Gala in Tommy Hilfiger. The main colors were Red, White, and Blue. However, what made it special was the variations in the suits. It made everyone stand out in their own way. They are no stranger to fashion as they have attended many shows. For example, I’m sure you know Versace’s prince (Hyunjin). Right? And the moment that got most stays in their feelings. Bangchan with Fendi is a whole mood. And there’s so much more, I cannot wait to see more from them! As for more moments. The fashion industry always has something up their sleeves. The runway is no stranger to iconic and surprising moments. I think we will see a lot more of that shock factor (good & bad) paired with the runway.

Predictions

As for guesses…hmm I have plenty, but I will make this short since I did write a lot here. Maybe I’ll do another article on trends and predictions? Let me know if you want to see that!

I think we will see a lot more statement pieces and color into our daily fashion. I think standing out is the new “fitting in” but does that mean you’re standing out? No clue. But I do think a lot of us love standing out more than not these days. I think layering will still be very popular. Also, I do believe there will be a lot of micro-trends unfortunately. Let me be clear, I think they can be cool, if people didn’t want to reset their whole wardrobe because of one person telling them it’s not trendy. But that’s for an uncomfy cushion. Not here. It’s festival, events, and fashion week time so there will be a lot of outfits being purchased. It will be interesting what people will wear. I cannot wait to see.
