Well, it’s that time of year again! You know what time it is! Probably because you read the title, but that’s beside the point. IT’S COACHELLA TIMEEEEEE!!!
We planned this out since the announcement of Coachella. Once they dropped the lineup and then the schedule, we knew we were ready.
I was a little sad that some artists weren’t able to perform like Tyla because I really wanted to see her setlist, but I’m glad she got to recover. The most important thing artists is for you to take care of yourselves! Okay? The music and performances can wait. There’s only one you so it’s important to care for you. And that really goes to all of you reading as well. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!
Alright let’s get to going to Coachella. RUN THE DISCLAIMERS
Disclaimer:
These are just my thoughts about the festival. Only the concert and musical aspect of the festival- nothing more, nothing less. I also decided to pick certain artists to focus on as some overlapped. Doesn’t mean I don’t value every performer (I was pretty sad after seeing I missed a few actually). If you have a favorite, you want us to check out, let us know!
Each day was different for me. I tried my best to watch the performances with no thoughts. Especially by week 2. I did have a bit of bias since I did see the week before. But as a performer, you realize not every performance is identical. So, I did my best to watch as much as I can.
COACHELLA LINE UP Highlights
As you know it was as long lineup, so we’ll only talk briefly about what we watched.

As you know, we did briefly cover some of the artist who attended. It was very important to watch whatever I could, whenever I could. As a college student that was not too easy as this time of tear is the home stretch, breaks, with many assignments in between. But as a B0SS, we got this!
So pro-tip: have a schedule! They put the lineup schedule up when it gets closer to the festival. That’s what I did.

Description: Oh, you know… just me getting ready for Coachella coverage!
I watched a lot of performances. You know which one I anticipated the most. And it was Chellateez…or sorry! ATEEZ. They took the stage as the first male Kpop group that took the stage. They had a lot of first last year, but this is one that gets mentioned the most on overseas media. There show was nothing less than action-packed. I was very happy to see how theatric it was as their concerts are known to be well…like a stage.
Tinashe was nothing short of incredible. Honestly when I think of performers, she is definitely one I can always count on. She’s able to sing and dance and hold her crowd. I felt like I was watching a performance that I wanted to be in the crowd of. Another one was Lil Uzi Vert. Literally they had the whole crowd hyped. I also really liked their outfit. It felt like a superhero. They jumped in the crowd, they ran around the whole stage. There wasn’t one space they left behind. Even the camera got some of their aura. Like, that’s really a way to own a stage. I think that was another one I really enjoyed and stayed the whole time.
Chloe Bailey really knew how to keep an audience hyped. It was super fun to sing along at home. I also found some new favorites. LE SSERAFIM also did an amazing job. I was in love with the outfits. I sang to every song, and they did a great job with the audience as well. I think their setlist was great even introducing other songs for the first time. Safe to say I added more songs to my ever-growing playlist.
I did not watch a lot of their performances, but I must say Lana Del Rey‘s stage set was beautiful. I really enjoyed Jon Batiste‘s stage as well. He really knows how to keep a crowd interested as nothing felt the same. Coi Leray had a lot of different vibes to her music as well. We had some nice dancing music as well as one that felt more motivational. That contrast was refreshing.
Hatsune Miku was pretty controversial due to how she was presented with the screen instead of projection. However surprisingly, on the stream this wasn’t too bad at all. She also had some great songs. I did wish she brough all her friends. Hopefully one day she will have a collab set indoors and we can get projections as well. Maybe some VR peeps as well. That would be cool.
Kesha joining Reneé Rapp was another iconic moment. That was unexpected, but so cool to see. Also, iconic song! Literally was on repeat since I heard it on the radio. and we know how strong of a performer Reneé Rapp is. Whether on the stage at a theatre or here at Coachella you cannot miss it! And how can we forget Tyler, The Creator? This artist and festival go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Okay let’s move on to the ultimate question.
IS IT WORTH THE STREAM?
I think you have time this is definitely the move. Not only are you watching it for free, but you are watching it live.
If you want to you could decorate and invite some people over. Have a theme or dress how you want. Get a projector or large screen and play it from there. Get some food and beverages you all enjoy and turn that music up! Bring Coachella to your home. Then come back to Regal Attraction and tell us how it went. Just be mindful of your neighbors as the hours go by. We are not responsible for that! :)Happy Streaming.
Watching it from the screen is cool because I mean they went over how to capture the show. It’s the story the artist wants to show you. You get to see the artist, the backup performers (dancers, singers, and actors), the stage. Everything. Including the fans and valley! Like come on. And Coachella provides the streaming schedule as well.
Now, if they save the performances, that would be even better for us. I went to rewatch some while the stream was still up. And that was very easy to do. When I went back later, they were gone. Poof. So yeah, that was really sad. I’m predicting they will upload them slowly as Coachella 2025 starts because then we will only be stuck on Coachella. I mean the views on the few performances they put up was a lot, but then it went away. So, I know it’s something we can look forward to soon.
Pros:
You are able to watch the livestream from wherever you are.
Great view! No hassle trying to watch in the best angle. Or trying to find the best spot to vibe. You got t in any space you’re in.
Cons:
The biggest con? Not seeing it in person. Also, Coachella release the footage pleaseeeeee! I’m begging you.
IS IT WORTH THE TRIP?
Planning on going? I think this is also a great experience. If you have patience, then I think this is the way to go. Not only do you get the festival, but you also get the trip. I think traveling really opens your eyes to so much. And you can really grow from it. It’s memories you can cherish. I think that’s pretty rad if you ask me.
Seeing it live also gives you all that the festival has to offer. I am not familiar with everything there, but I’m sure many people can vouch for me when I say that it’s an unforgettable experience.
Pros:
Memories that aren’t just screenshots on your phone.
Can live as loud as you want. No need to turn down the volume as you go into later hours. You are in the right place.
You’re seeing it live and in the moment! Who couldn’t love that? Well, if not… that’s a con for you. Let’s look into a few more.
Cons: I have seen different living and travel arrangements people have done in the past; however, one thing that remains true is the prices. Do your research. You’re here for the show, but you want a good experience at the end of the day.
THE BREAKDOWN (F10$$ STYLE)
Remember, this acronym may vary depending on the event.
FAN- As a fan I think this really was a great way to enjoy my artists. Also I think I got to discover new ones very easily by simply tuning into the next stage. One cool thing about it being livestreamed is that let’s say you were there…well you didn’t have time to decide which to attend…it’s right on your phone. Or maybe you’re too far in the back or exhausted. Boom. For me, I found this great
B0$$: As you seen earlier, it’s pretty hard writing one of these to be honest when you’re doing other things. It’s something I love so I can’t complain, but being a B0$$ that wants to graduate is like almost oil and water. However, you can get it done. So other bloggers, you got this. Just set aside a bit of time when you can. As long as you can go back on the live stream and you have the schedule, you can write the review.
Well, I can’t flex any pictures we have from the festival as we didn’t physically attend, but I will plug Regal Attraction. The purpose of covering things like this is something we take pride in. Showcasing art from artist and showcasing the love we have for it as audience. That art is what connects us all and that’s what this platform is able to do. So, events like this makes it so much cooler to really discover more art from impressive stages, to outfits, to the music and cinematography. It’s beautiful.
$: Well, it was free so who can complain? Well, if you have a device, wifi/data, and YouTube. Because I am a broke college student, I didn’t use premium, so I got ads when tuning in on my device. That sucked, so get your free trial you’ve been saving for that “just in case”. This is your case! When I sat with another writer of the blog, it was so much more convenient since they had premium already. It’s a time saver for sure. And if you consider time as money…well since we were covering a lot, that was money somewhere.
Out of 10? We’ll let us know what you rate it in the comments. Is streaming worth it? What about going? I hope they continue to keep this up. Okay for my rating? I will give it a solid 10. If you’re only option was to stream well, I think it’s worth it. I truly want to go in person just to give a good comparison.
OVERALL THOUGHTS
Coachella is honestly one of the first festivals I said I wanted to go to since I was younger. I think the vibes are indescribable. I think it’s one of the most anticipated festivals and it keeps getting better. Example, they are making another indoor stage this year. Which is great.
I also think that literally festivals introduce you to so many different things you may not have experienced before. Example? Well this is a music and arts festival. It’s in the name! On top of that, I am looking forward to the festival looks. I hope people will go all out this year. I know some fashion enthusiasts have slowed it down a bit, but hey! Let’s start highlighting the people and art that keeps creativity alive. No tea, no shade. Wear what you want, dress how you want, but I think the fashion magazines shouldn’t headline something you can find in the ready to wear basics rack. And multiple times? I’m sorry. But that’s a topic for another day on Uncomfy Cushion. Another topic we will be discussing is how people are treating artist…because that is an important thing. I’m sorry to say this (not really), but y’all they are human. Be kind to one another. Seriously.
On a postive note, I am so excited for this. I really enjoy music and art and everything self-expressive, so this is the perfect opportunity to showcase it all. If you’re going, have a lot of fun. And live life like nobody is watching, but you, your younger self, and your older self! Seriously, we only have one life to live and nothing is guaranteed. So have fun!
Well, that’s all for today’s F10$$. It’s more difficult since we didn’t physically attend, but I hope you enjoyed this blog. So, tell us who’s sets you attended! We want to hear your thoughts on the festival! We will explore a concert by one of the artists that was at last year’s Coachella. Can you guess? You’ll see soon.
