BTS WORLD TOUR: ARIRANG is hereeeeee! Ya’ll knew this was coming. This will be a small guide to the BTS concert! As well as maybe some tips and some fangirling. I know, I know! I am so excited to see what is to come.

I am a BTS ARMY so that being said, I will do my best to give you advice, but it is a bit biased. What can I say? This is about their tour! However, I will do my best to give my opinions as a reviewer. So, if some stuff does seem a bit “harsh” this is why. I will not talk about controversies and will not touch too much on actual concert day as I do not have information for that available right now. I will update along the way as I learn things! Okay. Let’s get into the review.

Who is BTS?

“어서 와 방탄은 처음이지?”

I’ll do a very short version as this is going to be a long article already. BTS is a 7-member group that consists of (ARMY sing it with me): Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook, (BTS!).

Why should I care?

Something you would never find me saying. I would like to say, just don’t as it would be easier to grab my tickets, but the good part of my heart has to explain this to you. This is their biggest tour yet! BTS has accomplished so much. So, if you’re into status, there’s the reason to see them. If you tend to get FOMO, this is one of the most talked about comebacks this year. As in as soon as they got discharged from the Army (which people were counting down the days), people were ready for their activities. No tour is the same. Something that will make you hate to miss this.

The stage format will be a bit different than before. It will feature a 360-degree stage. This new innovative stage isn’t new to the scene, but at least to BTS. It looks very impressive. And it will give everyone an opportunity to feel included.

If you’re more of an emotional connect, just look at the love yourself series. Literally it’s a movement that is so beautiful. It truly gets you to reflect and ultimately bloom into the most beautiful flower. Basically, the version of yourself. Check out the Love Yourself speech by Namjoon. I got so emotional, it’s not even a joke. Their music has connected so many people despite the language barriers. Music is universal and that’s the beauty in it.

BTS has grown so much. If you watch them from debut until now, I truly feel like they have been able to show so much versatility. BTS’ storyline is something that cannot be replicated. It is something that got me into KPOP and stay. We don’t know how long we have with them, but as they said, they’re “living legends” so…I mean you have to see it for yourself!

And most importantly-at least for this article, BTS has a huge discography with a lot of songwriting credits as well as the most fire producers in the game. I thought I knew all of their songs, but almost every time I dive into it, I see something new. On top of that, the songs they work on for other artist, features, ringtones, and collabs…ugh there’s so many.

Music is important and it’s something I express often. These artists whether it’s through music, lyrics, acting, or dance have shown so many storylines. Their performances are no joke. I think there’s something for everyone truly. You have to listen to their albums. And the fact they are doing this live…you will have an unforgettable experience.

Have I sold you it yet? Well unfortunately, I can’t sell you the tickets. I can’t even promise myself that. You have to get them yourself. And it’s not going to be easy.

How to get tickets

To be honest, I didn’t do my research for everywhere. So, this is specifically to the concert goers who are coming here for the US tour dates!

It’s going to be on Ticketmaster. So, make sure to have your notifications on, alarms ready, and manifestations going.

For presale…it’s going to cost you. It is $22. Not too bad to get a chance at getting the tickets. I bought both the US and Global membership. My US BTS concert goers, download Weverse. Please get the US membership! You need that one to secure tickets. For the rest not planning on going to the US tour dates, go for global! Please read up on it in the Weverse chats. Also, all around online ARMY has been really helpful.

What if I don’t get them?

Hey! We’re not putting in that energy. I do think them doing 2 sales times for the LA concert. So please check the days! For 9/1-9/2 it’s January 22nd. And the second round for the dates 9/5-9/6 is January 23rd. Both are on 3pm pst. SAVE THE DATES! Figure out how what days you want.

is it makes it easier for everyone to have an opportunity to go. I hope that everyone gets an opportunity to go.

Usually, their concerts are livestreamed through a service that their company will provide. So usually there’s a way to still watch it live. And I’ve done this a couple of times in my life and I enjoyed it. I think watching from home is a great way to still feel a part of a beautiful night. So don’t think that going in person is the only option. You can even put your Bluetooth on your BTS ARMY BOMB (light stick), so you’ll really be a part of the experience. And everything they wanted to be portrayed in choreo, in storyline, and acting can be seen in a crisp way. Plus, you can see everyone in good quality. So don’t worry too much.

Since I have been in the world of livestreaming before, I do want to see them live in person for once. It’s been a goal of mine for many years now.

More ticketing information + Tips

I won’t lie to you. I don’t know much. I’m surprised I got this far. And to be honest, you’re going to need patience. Have you ever seen the clip of BTS trying to get tickets? Yeah, they can’t even do it. Just stay calm and no matter what breathe. And also, don’t go looking for resellers until you are collected. They prey on the desperate and I hate that.

Try to have a budget as well because companies are also preying on you too and how much money you’re willing to spend. Though we want to go, we don’t want to go broke either. I heard sometimes it’s better to try out of the country. If you have the money for it, it might be great as you can travel a bit too. Try to not only budget for the concert itself, but the whole day including emergenies.

It will not be the end of the world even though it feels like it. They have tour dates all the way up to 2027. The boys are booked the airplane is going to pt.3 at this point (iykyk)! I do agree with the discourse rught now about the frustration about how the venues are not being shared. That’s a tad bit annoying. However, at least we know some of them.

The awaited stop (bias)

The one we are most interested in is the LA concert dates. It will be 4 of them! Which is super surprising. Many were angry about this but come on. LA is like their second home too. They learned a lot out here. And also come on…LA is the place to be! Just be careful lol! However, you know this is going to be a big deal and I’ve seen online their tour there before. I cannot wait to see it irl.

LOCATIONS

So now we’ll be hyper specific. For LA it’s going to be at the SOFI STADIUM! Which is located on: 1001 Stadium Dr, Inglewood, CA 90301

This stadium is huge. We have not been yet, but this is one of the places we still need to review for F10$$!

PREDICTIONS

Some eagle eyed ARMY as well as some theorists have been pulling up older clips and noticed that some of the members seemed to be planning out the stage layout while attending other solo concerts by their fellow members. I’m not 1000% sure that’s what they are talking about, but that would be so cool. There’s so many predictions out there. I cannot wait to see which ones are going to be coming to life!

My prediction is that they will perform most of their older music. Newer music from the new album for sure. I do wonder if they will do any of the songs they forgot. Like some of them are excusable, but how do you forget “Paradise”??? A hit! I know there’s some they truly love and some they don’t favor as much. I hope that we get to see at LEAST 3 songs minimum from each era. I just would love to see that. If you want some song selections, we did an article with some of our favorite BTS songs on there. Not all of them, just some of them! If you have some, we would love to hear about them.

Thought and wishes

Nothing more in the word do I want more than see all the ARMY reminiscence while creating new memories with this music. The music that has been on the journey with me through my youth. It’s pretty poetic if you think about it.

Just an opinion, it feels like a need to go. I mean I have been a fan of this group for so long (them being the first K-pop group I stanned), I have had them on my bucket list forever. I know there’s newer fans or concert enthusiast who will want to go, day ones, and people who attend literally every concert (and tries for barricade in each one). As well as many people who are reselling and scamming. So, it’s going to be a huge mix of people and it’s frustrating. I will save my full thoughts on that on a Uncomfy Cushion and not here.

Audience wise, you don’t have to worry. There’s a mix group of people. Old, young, and everything in between. Casual listers, Fans of BTS (baby fans-hardcore fans), and BTS ARMY. And most ARMY is very nice and you can really find some amazing people at these concerts. Going back to my opinion, I hope that this concert will bring in many more people as BTS has been that group that brought so much happiness my way through their messages and music. I hope they will do the same for you too.

Final thoughts:

I’m sure we are all knowing this day would come, but now that it’s here, I’m getting really scared. But we got this! And we will do our best to get as much information to you on this! As well as content when we go!
