Jackson Wang is here in California to deliver part of his story through music! Making HIStory doing it! And don’t worry if you’re not in Cali, there’s more opportunities to see this story live!

The Magic Man 2 tour has been going on since late 2025. The Magic Man 2 album, was released July 2025. We did a review/analysis on one of the tracks already. And will do a full album review soon (I know, I told you a while back I would, I’m sorry).
This world tour will go from 2026-2027! So, there are many opportunities to go see it!
Disclaimer: I am a Jacky so…this might be the slightest bit biased. However, I do truly believe if you are a Jacky (apart of the fandom), a fan of Jackson Wang, or just want to check out the concert, this is the tour you need to see. Seriously. It will change the standards you have for a concert. And for who you should support. Okay on to the short review! We will do a longer one on the F10$$ series like the rest of the places we attended. So, stay tuned! 🙂
Let me tell you. The night is very magical. We attended the LA show. COMPLETELY SOLD OUT! And there’s so many reasons why this is well deserved. 3 days later and we cannot get over it. I really wish that there was a second date, but we were lucky to attend this one. The fact he is involved in everything makes it hold more weight. It will have some unforgettable moments, valuable lessons, and main character energy. All of this and so much more.

The show features Magic Man and Jackson Wang. Which you might be confused if you don’t know much about the “concept”. I think you get to see this internal battle play out on stage, and every so often you get more pieces of the puzzle. From the thoughts to the notes, to the execution through performance. Mind you, real life being portrayed through art. Which creates this complicated feeling of a beautiful tragedy. It a must see from start to finish.

“OKAY TELL US ABOUT THE CALI STOP!“
Well LA’s concert is over, but there’s one more stop in Cali. The show in Oakland, California starts at 8pm today (April 2, 2026), so there is still time to cop tickets. And I have to say it again. YOU HAVE TO GO!
THE VIEWS: SEATS
Now for seat suggestions. It really depends on what you want out of the night. I don’t think there’s a bad view. And he makes sure to share love to everyone there from the top to the bottom of the venue. There are guaranteed audience interaction/connections. Plus, you never know if you might be chosen to come on stage (come with your best dance moves and vibes). And the gratitude expressed-ugh I love him.

Side note: If you are chosen to come on stage. Be respectful and considerate of him and the performers. And match energy! Also please listen and respect to the security and staff. It’s important for a smooth day. Los Angeles was lit and the lucky audience members were vibing with class from what I saw!

Experience wise, it’s best to go to through VIP NATION. Trust me. And if you can cop the Magic Man 1 package (if that’s not available, Magic Man 2!). Magic Man 1 package gets you more perks than Magic Man 2. For example, Man 1 gives you the opportunity to meet him before the show. That sold it for me. It was a quick moment, but one that’s memorable. This will get you the VIP memorabilia and you can remember the night much more. Plus, it’s some fire merch. And the tote bag is one of the best designs for everyday use.
Speaking of merch…I heard the merch was selling out quickly. Unfortunately, it’s not online like some of the other places we’ve seen. It’s only available on concert grounds so this is pretty exclusive! Get there pretty early because it’s always better to have a little more time to explore the venue anyways. If you want a hoodie, get there even earlier. Pretty much everything sells out fast. When we got there, they were already restocking and when we returned back it was gone already.
“And what’s going to be performed here?“
I won’t spoil the setlist (we can talk about it later (in another article)). However, try to come prepared with at least the title of the concert’s album. When going, make sure to listen to the album! It’s a really good one and can help you understand some of the concept. Though no one will really know the full story, we get to see a lot of it portrayed here. Plus, majority of the setlist is this album. Also, listen to the oldies but goodies! Some made an appearance here as well.

One spoiler. There’s a song that is on the album called ‘High Alone‘. It was one I saw on clips of the tour last year and I knew I needed to watch it live. I was worried about how emotional I might get while watching it and the irony of watching this play out. If you don’t know, watch the music video (and if you do still watch it lol! :)) Then come back to the article we wrote a while back about it. I want to hear your interpretation. And if Jackson sees this or anyone apart of his team, hit us up! I want to know every detail. I think seeing the ending helped reassure it was worth watching.

Without fully spoiling… it’s a little bit of everything. I won’t lie; I got emotional whiplash sometimes. I was vibing to some songs living life, then all of a sudden, I’m getting teary eyed because of what I was seeing. Then I’m hyped up, next minute we’re getting life lessons and deep talks. There’s a lot of visuals and elements that can evoke various emotions. There were also elements that help hype the crowd or get them involved (having mini choreo for us to use of phones or throw our hands up).
Other thoughts:

-There was a sign language interpreter there as well. I was watching a clip of them, and I just thoroughly enjoyed it. Seeing them be so passionate made me emotional. -The way he shares the stage and highlights the fellow performers! The solo for the dancers and band is amazing. The Dj was lit. I couldn’t stop dancing! -There are some flashing lights. They were even messing with my eyes a bit and I can handle them pretty well. So be cautious. -Many people like to gift freebies for others to remember the night. If they do tag themselves, check them out too! I love when they do this! Please tag yourselves on freebies if you are comfortable! -Will be clips of nostalgia so bring some tissues!
Okay. Let’s talk some essentials! -Pack ear buds at any concert to keep your hearing intact. You know how concerts work. I like loud music. But with that plus screaming from the fans (guilty), that can become overwhelming. Make sure to hydrate. Grab some sanitizer. And if you’re sick or afraid of getting sick, never hurts to bring a mask. Portable battery with charging cable (you’ll use your phone for some of the interactive parts of the show). And protect your voice, don’t become like some of us. My voice will never be the same since I don’t protect my vocals with good support & technique. Those are a few things. We’ll curate a list of concert essentials soon. But there’s many on the internet already if you need one now.
Final thoughts:

We’ll share a full review through F10$$ at a later date. So, stay tuned! But seriously, after all of the concerts I have attended, I must say this is definitely up there as one of the most authentic and creatively liberating concerts I’ve ever experienced. Not only as an artist, but as a human Jackson Wang is setting standards.
Side note: I wanted to do more for the freebies but ran out of time. And the things I ordered literally came 2 days after the LA concert. I hope you still enjoyed them. Hopefully I can do better next time!

If you choose to go, I 100% believe you won’t regret it. You learn a lot about the artist you choose to support and there’s no doubt in my mind you will love this one. Jackson is a one-of-a-kind artist. And just overall very, very humble. Also, high energy, even though he had a long day before getting on the stage (all the prep, signings, plus the meet and greet, etc.) he gave it his all and then some.
Seeing this in real life has truly changed how I view a concert, artist, and the overall experience of a concert. And as an artist myself, it opened my mind to new opportunities to showcase how I am feeling and how to express it through art. And I thank you for this. We met so many amazing people at the venue! Shout out to all of you who made this night so special! This is what concerts should be! Good vibes and unforgettable experiences.
If you have went, going or want to, tell us what you enjoy most about this album, the concept, and the tour.

Thank you again for this amazing experience. Thank you to Jackson, the performers, staff, crew, and everyone in between who made this come to life. And I can’t wait to keep seeing clips from this amazing tour! ❤
