7 BTS Ticketing Tips for ‘Arirang’

1. STAY CALM: Your place in the waiting room doesn’t define whether you’ll get a ticket or not. You grabbing a ticket or not is not the end of the world. You still have a life to live, and you never know, there may be more tickets sneaking in at later times. Just hold out hope and don’t feel too discouraged if things don’t completely go your way!

2. Make sure that all of your information is accurate across all platforms. That includes: Ticketmaster (making sure personal information and billing information is accurate and up to date), Weverse (specifically the army membership information and personal information of the account), your payment information (specifically your card information, payment platform information, and Ticketmaster payment information), and your identification card (Government-issued ID) (make sure your other accounts match the name and other relevant information of your ID). They NEED to be consistent and accurate, to the letter and number, with one another. I promise you, they’ll check and you’ll regret not making sure everything matched up.

3. When thinking about buying tickets, an integral element of it all is making sure that you have more than one payment method. This can mean a combination of a credit card and a payment platform (like PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay) as a backup, a credit card and a debit card, or any combo of at least 2 or more payment methods just so that you don’t lose your tickets, after the fight it was to try and secure them, because your payment wouldn’t go through.

Here is a screenshot of the accepted payment methods on Ticketmaster:

4. Make sure you have a reliable device. This means that you have enough storage to where it won’t hinder the functionality of your device, your battery life won’t be an issue as you wait in the queue for x amount of time, and your device overall works pretty quickly and smoothly when going to websites and making purchases (this is important!).

5. On a similar plane, make sure that you have reliable wifi and/or data on your chosen device. You do not want to be in line and making progress just to all of a sudden get kicked out of the queue, your page to refresh or crash, your page to just freeze, or for your Ticketmaster loading to go very slow and you barely move in the line. Make sure that your service is quick and reliable so that you won’t have any regrets on your end once tickets start selling out.

6. Get everything situated EARLY! Get up at a reasonable time (allow yourself the time to prepare for the ticketing madness), prepare your device(s) for what’s ahead (charge your device(s), hop on the website, make sure everything’s working well, and close all other tabs and windows just in case that becomes an issue down the line), double and triple check your payment information (make sure it’s up to date and already saved into your account for faster checkout. Also, make sure potentially making a large purchase won’t be an issue from your bank when getting ready to checkout.), have your army membership number ready to go (don’t want to somehow type the wrong number or letter and have issues getting in the queue. Also, don’t want to use the wrong membership number.), and make sure that the date that you are planning on purchasing tickets is the correct date (don’t want to end up on a day where presale hasn’t even begun and you waited for nothing, or it’s just the wrong date in general). Overall, you want to be ready ahead of time so that the only problem you run into is seeing that sea of blue dots disappear by the millisecond (or not).

7. Do it for the love of the Bangtan Boys. I can’t stress this enough, and although a bit subjective, I’d say that really fight for these tickets because you want to be in the room on these historic nights. It sucks when true fans can’t get a chance to see their favorite artists because of greed and selfishness. If you do end up missing out because of these scalpers and greedy beings, don’t feel too saddened. I like to think of it as it wasn’t meant to be. Doesn’t mean that it is a “never”, but rather a “not right now.” If it is meant for you to be in the room with BTS one day, you’ll find that it happens when least expected (whether that be at a concert, an award show, a special event, on stage, or even at your local park or grocery store). You never know what’s in store!

Finally, make sure to check the official 2026bts.com site for updates regarding the ‘Arirang’ album and tour. They’ve been updating quite often recently and counting down to the album release. You never know what could pop up there (maybe an extra date *fingers crossed*)!

Stay Optimistic! Stay fighting! Stay trying! Stay Army!

I wish you luck on your ticketing journey and hope to be in the room with you laughing, singing, dancing, filming, bonding, and enjoying the greatness that BTS has to offer on this ‘Arirang’ tour. Good luck!

I purple you!
