BTS in LA- a guide

(constantly getting updates!)

We out hereeeeee! We outside! Why is traffic looking a mess? We yes, it’s because of BTS!!! LA must confess, this is a success! Because of the awesomeness of BTS, we have a BTS day now! And yes I am apart of the BTS Army, and yes I am excited to have 6 dedicated days towards BTS! Some people are attending every show. So a week in LA! What is that looking like? I will tell you depending on who you are, we can stay cooped up in the hotel/home or you can explore and make the most out of your trip here.

Los Angeles goes far and wide. you will not be bored here. And yes I could mention the few touristy parts, but I think that’s what everyone is doing. Like previous RA in LA local guides, I will guide you with themed things.

LA is going to “light it up” red at City Hall to celebrate BTS day the Arirang way! This is a sight to see and I bet this is something not typical on your list. It’s not really on mine either when it comes to concert season.

GOOD EATS & MEMORIES

The most places you will see us mention is restaurants and cafes. Eats are the most popular thing out here. And I recommend cafes for specific reasons. Most times for events in Kpop*, there are dedicated cafe’s. Make sure to check the times. These cafes are normal cafes, but the theme is temporary. So you get for example for this week, there will be different cafe events solely for BTS. Drinks are named after them and/or their songs/era and they also offer items. This is really special and you can meet up with other people in the fandom. A cool way to kick off the concert day and maybe find some new friends before the show!

ARIH is having a pop-up at the grove from September 2-6. I recommend checking this out! And you might see a few of us there. Make sure to say hi! We would love to see you there! We also covered ARIH before on the website so check it out if you have time.

*(I’m not sure if it’s in other genres as I haven’t seen it yet)

Checking out some dope eats is always a good time.

You can check out some of the past places BTS enjoyed. There’s many popular places especially in the Hollywood and K-Town area. But I would say go with the intention of wanting to try it. To see what the hype is. Don’t be the weird stalker who ruins BTS only time off out here. Do not be that person please.

Especially when they are underrated. I would say check out social media for cool spots. But do research! People like to hide things about sponsorships and they also like to say very opinionated stuff (negative or positive) just because (and sometimes because views matter more than their viewership). And on top of this…people say things are in LA and sometimes it’s a whole different city. So be careful. And plan out your day well because LA traffic doesn’t show mercy for anyone. It cares less that you are trying to make it back for the concert. Legend has it, it decides to make it longer just because you are in a rush. So have fun, plan accordingly, and the time will go by faster.

Free Things to do

We just talked about one of them. ARIH is going to be a free pop-up event!

As long as you can get to them, public beaches, pools, parks, and trails are amazing places to enjoy. The fun thing about California is we do have a lot of these places. I haven’t even explored everywhere yet. There’s a lot of hidden treasures here. And if you are willing to discover them, you can make some memories. Maybe even find a space you call home when you visit LA! Again be safe. Always be cautious anywhere in the world. That’s just something you have to do.

There’s a lot of low cost transportation as well. Like metro buses and trains. Just make sure to relax and try to give yourself time. It’s reliable most times, but only when you give yourself time. Remember there are other people waiting to get on their destinations too, so give yourself time. And again whether public or private, always be vigilant!

The concert itself!

I mean duh of course we were going to put this on here.

The concert is one of the highlights of the day. And for most of us, it will be the highlight of the year. For many this concert is a once and a lifetime experience that you will only experience…once in this lifetime haha. I recommend based off of the previous show we went to, going early of course. And sections really don’t matter. As long as you are in the building if you are finically able to. If not, again support comes in so many ways. Streaming, sharing, and spreading positivity.

(I’m not sure if it’s anywhere else as I haven’t seen it yet)

We hope to cover the concert in our F10$$ series and give you the insight on this concert. You do not want to miss out on this! Trust me! BTS is one of the most talked about talents for a reason. They do not disappoint. Today is Jungkook’s birthday as well! And It is rumored RM’s birthday will be celebrated on the 4th! I am very excited for all of the fan projects there will be as well.

Express. Anything! Everything!
