Hello welcome to F10$$! This time we are dining in. Today we are going to YARD HOUSE! This is the first F10$$ bites, however, this is a part of the KCON 2025 day so we kind of named it as a mini!

We did not dine for a long time, so this is a quick review!

This is our first time there so we didn’t know what to expect.

Here’s the thing…I have a simple pallet. So, if you like complex flavors, expensive foods, or specialty items from exclusively luxury restaurants- personally…A.P. is not the gal you should listen to. I typically like comfort foods, broke college student cuisine, and typically foods that us Americans get judged for. Also, I get judged by my fellow adults as I still enjoy my chicken nuggies, salted fries, and juice. Though I am adventurous and like luxury every now and then. I tend to also eat things that don’t make sense together. For example…recently I have been enjoying honey mustard with Buffalo pizza. Don’t judge me. You thought about it for a second. That being said…if you don’t like the things I like, we might not agree. We will eventually have other pallets here, but for now you have me! If there is any controversies, I am not discussing those today, just the menu. We do this disclaimer on anything we review whether it is an album or a sock. Please don’t feel offended.

This is the LA LIVE area. It’s in Downtown, LA and next to a lot of the arena’s and conventions. So if you need a place, you might want to check it out. I did feel awkward about filming and taking photos inside and outside the restaurant, but that’s because other people are having a calm dining experience and I didn’t want to ruin it for them. Sometimes seeing a camera can make people feel uncomfortable, so we didn’t film much in there.

Ambiance wise, it was so calm in this corner. Like walking up to the restaurant, I can hear my footsteps. There weren’t many people which was surprising, but I guess LA live comes more alive at night.

We walked in and got sat immediately. I won’t say the hosts are giving host, but giving “I’m doing my job”. And mood. That didn’t bother me much as I have been in that headspace many times. Our server was giving hospitality though. Very friendly and was very attentive. I wish I remembered his name. But I kind of want to keep their privacy too so I guess it’s okay. But shout out to the servers there, you are very nice!

Music was giving…you know American style restaurant. There was another restaurant I went to recently that had a similar playlist. Not bad at all. But also a lot of music I don’t hear played too! I was quite surprised I thought for a second I was in the car with my uncles and aunts on a Saturday evening! It was at the right level to hear your host when checking in, talk with the server, and talk with your company. Perfection.

Then came the menu. I already checked it out days before as we planned out checking this out. Don’t judge us, okay? I didn’t know much about Yard house before this. One thing to note (I think they say this on their site as well), there isn’t happy hour when there’s an event. Which makes so much sense cause the strain it would put on the employees. And imagine the wait times? Gosh… Great job Yard house!

The menu was massive and there’s a lot of things that fit right with my pallet. However, we didn’t have a lot of time. So, we just had to get ordering. We ordered 2 things. All things to share and drinks. I ordered a strawberry lemonade which was allowed to be refilled. And we also ordered Nachos and a cheesecake. I was really excited about these. Again, if our pallets don’t align, leave me alone.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of footage of this day. As I mentioned, we didn’t want to disturb the people enjoying their meals and their day. It wasn’t even a bunch of KCONers in there so it made it more difficult to really want to film. Which is okay. I can still remember vividly how I felt about everything.

Honestly, juice will be juice, I am not going to rate them. They have a solid taste that will help elevate your dinning experience lol. The lemonades were refillable (which is always appreciated), while the pineapple juice was not, which is standard with restaurants. No complaints at all.

I still think about those Chicken Nachos and the Cheesecake dessert, so good. I miss it already. The Cheesecake is the highlight, but the nachos are still solid. And 100% sharable. The problem is my stomach space isn’t as big as I think it is before we order. This is a theme. So I apologize.

It only gets stronger. This wasn’t planned actually. So, we actually went again recently for a concert at the Crypto . com arena. We had to go again. That being said, it was amazing. Actually we decided to try different items except for one as we wanted to really let you know.

I have to say, I was happy with our service there and even leaving the host was nice! I also like the vibes at nighttime a lot more as it just feels like a good time! I didn’t feel forgotten about and at the same time was given enough space to at least swallow my food before a “How is the meal?”. I loved every second of it.

I won’t lie…this food really delicious. I really want to go back. I was thinking about ordering another one to share with everyone at home to get a second opinion. But even when I was full I still saw myself wanting to keep eating.

The pizza was solid. So was the Strawberry Lemonades (which are refillable!). There are other flavors which is cool, but I didn’t try them this time. I saw a dragonfruit one, but I was kind of dragoned-out since I have just has a few of that flavor at the pier the past few weeks. It’s not something to run home about, same with the fries. I think these are safe options and you won’t be disappointed with them. In fact, I would definitely recommend them to others 1000%.

Same for the sandwich. Each one could be recommended to others as these are solid options. And nothing from what I have tried so far feels like its sole purpose was to coat your stomach. Like it doesn’t feel like beer food. I would say, I haven’t tried their beers yet, but I am not even interested right now, the food, music, and vibes are enough! But I am willing to try it.

Just a closer look at that. It was really good. But with every bite I was getting fuller. And the bottom bun was getting soggy anyways due to all the veggies I think. Which is not a problem at all. Let me feel healthy while eating my meal! I really liked how seasoned this was. I was quite surprised. And it made me want to take more bites.

We were already kind of full by this point, so unfortunately it was kind hard to appreciate it for all its beauty. Apparently, this is a very popular dessert? And I can see why. There’s a cookie-brownie fusion topped with ice cream and decorated with whipped cream and toppings (fudge and caramel). And this cookie is an Oreo, which makes it even better.

And a returning favorite! The Cheesecake Brûlée. Every time amazing. I don’t have anything to really say about this, but save room! Seriously. Because this was our only actual meal today, we go full really quickly and it was still good, but not “savor this like a chocolate commercial” good. So yeah save room. She’s a icon and she needs her space.

BO$$: There’s not much that I needed to be a boss (or blogger) with here tbh… The things I got to order was amazing.

WORTH THE F10$$?

Yes! 1000% lowkey I haven’t hated one item I have tried and the quality is still there. I haven’t had a complaint. And the team is so nice there. At least from our experience. I didn’t feel comfortable filming in there due to my own conscious. I mean people are enjoying their time there me filming too much can be uncomfortable. And I don’t like when people do it to me to be honest, so I just decided, it’s unwind time. Only film what you need on your table.

Price was great, food was delicious, and vibes were chill. I will definitely return when I get the chance to. Whelp…now back to KCON! When we are almost right on time for check in.
