See you in the desert…online! 😉
Disclaimer: We may not get to check out every artist…I don’t think that would be possible even irl, so please be patient. If there’s an artist you want us to check out, let us know! We would love to.
Also since this is live reporting, this might be a tad bit difficult to cover every moment. Also there might be a few errors. We will update throughout the next few weeks! Please be patient. We thank you for checking us out!
If I use the same word…it’s just the vocabulary rotation at the time okay? When I edit, I’ll try to do better. It’s the live feelings. Nothing’s calculated, just impulsive!
We got Chella vibez…so let’s get into them! Okay a bit cringe, but let’s go! XD
Week 1, DAY 1
I’m expecting a lot from this festival this year.
But fun performances. Unexpected collabs. And iconic looks. I mean these are things that the festival brings!
Not the drama, brand trips, and influencer noise. Though I’ve been seeing some cool things some influencers are doing, it’s not my main purpose of staying up to date with this festival. And if you want chisme…we won’t be covering much of it here. Just the performances.
🔴 Live rn!
We’re starting our day off hyped with Youna! Her set was the perfect vibe to dance around! And the transitions were flawless. I didn’t even know we went into a different song. I wish that I was there right now. But you know, maybe next time. Next week??? Coachella hit us up!
I must mention, watching this on the livestream was awesome because we also get to see all of the camera angles. And schedule in live time. Also her outfit is just as fierce as the music! I am fully enjoying this set. Next weekend, check her out if you get the privilege of going. Also bring the energy! Artist want you present not on your phone.
BINI omg! I heard of their group, but this is my first time listening to their songs. I have must say, I regret not listening sooner. The vibe is so chill and fits this time of day! This kind of pop music makes me happy. And their outfits are absolutely beautiful. I am definitely adding them to my playlist. Their backup dancers outfits were amazing as well. Everyone is shining in their own way. My favorite so far is ‘Blush’! And live vocals are on point as well. I love when I can discover new music! This is another must see set! Trust me. Seeing all the flags in the crowd really made me emotional! It’s beautiful to see.
Sabrina Carpenter was a must see. I don’t care. Make the time for this one. It had all the theatrical elements you would want out of a musical and/or play. And I think it was just heartwarming to see. She has been acting for a long time and has been on broadway. And seeing her do so many genres as well. I mean. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE see this set. It healed the actress, singer, performer in me lol!
Okay let’s talk
I went to my day job so I was
Week 1, DAY 2
We’re hereeeee. Okay so Fujii Kaze is a set I am really looking forward to. The livestream I hope is late like people are saying, but Jack White seems to still be going on 10 minutes after the allowed time. I think it is possible it could be a livestream issue. I like the call and response thing Jack White did. He also performed a song from his former group the White Stripes! Can you guess? “Seven Nation Army”! It really had the whole crowd singing with me along.
It feels like it’s going on long though. I don’t know how it is in real life.
That’s one problem about Livestreams, things can delay. Someone said it’s a 20 minute delay which is a tad bit inconvenient. But it’s okay because I’ll catch up with where I wasn’t. I do wonder if every livestream is delayed. Guess I’ll have to check.
Fujii Kaze is finally on! One thing I like about his music is his performance. I think as an artist you must watch him. I think the colors you display is very important for your audience to connect to. And I think Fujii Kaze is someone who has an interesting way of expressing his music and I admire it. I think if you are her to vibe, watch, and learn, this is the set for you. I would describe it, Bizarre in a good way. The whole crew looks amazing and looks so happy to be there. Fujii Kaze kind of gave Jack Sparrow vibes to me. Anyone else? Actually I just searched it up because it was bothering me and I’m not the only one! I love it! The set gave like a disco and classic soulful vibes with a modern twist.
Addison Rae was giving pop realness. If you want to have some fun (I mean why can’t you?), check out this set! It’s great to see her living her dreams on stage. I originally know her from TikTok era and to be able to go and do music after, it has been nice to see. Also I expressions were important in content creation and the over expressiveness fits well for performance.
Okay we’re here for Taemin now! Taemin’s set is absoultely iconic. Obvi. He started off very powerful. He’s literally the dancer king. One thing that really frustrates me is the camera angles sometimes. Because if you look at it Taemin. There’s a lot of aura that Taemin alludes. And it’s great to see him finally at Coachella. And being the first solo male Kpop idol to perform at Coachella. It couldn’t have been a better person to represent.
The new song is giving heavy Micheal Jackson vibes.
I don’t think I need to say it. You need to watch this.
The audio keeps going on and off and lower then it went out for a second on the live stream. Don’t play with me stream.
The band solo was ‘Sherlock’ and I freaked out. So many moments that was impressive. The song he did next was so heavy RnB inspired, it was so nostalgic.
We watched Nine Inch Noize next just because and it was pretty hyped.
